The SOMFY Master Pro Bitech Photocell Sensor is a safety device designed for obstacle detection during the movement of sliding gates, swing gates, and garage doors. Using an infrared beam between transmitter and receiver units, the photocell instantly detects any obstruction in the gate's path and signals the automation system to stop or reverse, preventing accidents and damage.

The discreet, narrow profile allows easy integration into the gate or garage door structure without disrupting the aesthetic of the installation. An optional protection cover is available to shield the sensor from physical impacts and vandalism, making it suitable for both residential and high-traffic commercial environments.
